Photo Gallery | Couple arrested in theft of purses from Wal-Mart customers

Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announces the arrest of the couple responsible for stealing three purses at WalMart since the beginning of January.
After the release of the photos of the two individuals seen stealing purses in Wal-Mart, deputies received a number of leads from CrimeStoppers and citizens providing information about persons in the surveillance images.

Deputies say they arrested Jordan Recardo Dove and Ronee Alicia Kirby.

The report said officers were attempting to serve arrest warrants on Kirby and Dove, when the pair observed officers in their yard and sped off.  

 In addition to the larceny charges for stealing the purses, Dove and Kirby were issued traffic situations for failure to stop for a blue light and child endangerment for having an unrestrained child in the vehicle, the report stated.
