The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for burglary.
“We need the community’s help to identify the persons in the photographs,” said Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell. “They are responsible for stealing weapons, a computer, a television, and cash from a residence on Old Highway Six, Eutawville, between 2:58 p.m. and 4:55 p.m. on Nov. 9. Our investigation indicates there were several vehicles that passed by the individuals as they were approaching the residence. We are also releasing a photo of one of the vehicles in hopes we will be able to collect some more information about this pair.”
According to sheriff’s deputies, they’ve responded to a number of burglaries in the towns on Elloree, Holly Hill, and Eutawville over the past few months. Items stolen have ranged from cash and televisions to golf carts and trailers, the report stated.
As the holidays continue, we ask residents to be vigilant for their homes and as well as their neighbors. Do not leave boxes from your new television purchase on the curb or in your yard,” Ravenell added. “Do not leave blinds or curtains open so anyone walking by can see the gifts under your tree. Please take any steps to make it harder for criminals to steal your property and gifts.”
