Orangeburg County Sheriff Office arrested two men following an undercover operation.

“Don Antonio Jackson and Christopher Renard Hawkins were taken into custody by Berkeley County and Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Deputies on Friday,” said Sheriff Leroy Ravenell. “Both men accepted a package of 25 pounds of marijuana from an undercover officer posing as a delivery man at their Richardson St., Cross address. A loaded Smith and Wesson 9 mm handgun was found on Jackson at the time of his arrest.”

“We are grateful for the support of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office in this operation,” Ravenell added. “It is imperative that law enforcement agencies pool resources to keep all communities safer and rid our neighborhoods of criminals.”
