I am a beautiful young boxer! My name is Josephine. I was found as a stray running around a ball park and luckily some people from Wescott Acres and Pawmetto Lifeline got me to trust them to the point where I finally was able to have a leash put on me. I am now living at Wescott Acres waiting for my forever home. I am VERY nervous around new people, but once I get to know and trust you, I am a great and loving dog. I need to go to a very dog savy owner that will have the time and patience to allow me to trust them.When initially approached by people, I get VERY frightened and become very protective of the person that is holding me. I need to be introduced very slowly to all that I meet. Due to this protective nature of mine, I would not do well in a home with children. Adults only. I will need someone with a lot of patience and love to give to help me trust and adjust to all new situations. ONce I do get to know you, I will be your best friend!! Will you give me the loving home I deserve?
