Deputies seek ID of kidnapping suspect with spiderweb tattoo on forearm | Crime
The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office is releasing a sketch of a kidnapping suspect and asking for the community’s help in identifying and locating the man.
“Between 7:30 – 7:45 a.m. on Nov. 5 as the 15-year-old victim was walking to school on Legrand Smoak St., Cordova, a white male in a blue truck approached the child and asked if he had any money,” said Sheriff Leroy Ravenell. “The suspect pointed a gun at the student and demanded for him to get into the vehicle. The suspect asked the student again if he had any money. When the student replied no, the suspect then drove around the area and dropped the student off in a neighborhood.”
“The suspect is described as a bald, heavy set white male, with a spiderweb tattoo on his right forearm, driving a 1980s-1990s sky blue Chevy pick-up truck, with white trim,” Ravenell added. “The truck has a deer processing sticker on the dash board.”
