Deputies seek person of interest in shooting death | Crime

Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office released a photograph of a person of interest in a shooting on Maedrine Street on September 10.

“Our investigation indicates this person has some information about the shooting where one male victim was shot and later died and one person was injured,” said Sheriff Leroy Ravenell. “This man has ties to the Bowman area and goes by the nickname Ra-Ra.

Deputies say this man went to an out-of-town hospital and used a fake name to receive treatment for a gunshot wound to his left arm.
