SC State Fair announces 2012 concert lineup | Community Spirit

The South Carolina State Fair announced on Friday the 2012 Pepsi Grandstand concert lineup along with some changes that will enhance the concert going experience at the 2012 fair to be held on Oct. 10-21, 2012. 

In a response to allow more room for concert goers in the Pepsi Grandstand, all seating on the floor level has been removed and will now be standing room only.  In addition, for convenience when purchasing tickets online, this year gate admission will be included with the Pepsi Grandstand ticket price.

“We work every year to bring a bigger and better South Carolina State Fair to fair goers,” said Gary Goodman, general manager, South Carolina State Fair.  “It is our hope that these changes, along with our spectacular Pepsi Grandstand Lineup, will elevate the experience of the fair for South Carolinians and other visitors across the nation who comes to Columbia to enjoy a great concert during the fair.”

Pepsi Grandstand tickets go on sale, via www.scstatefair.org, Wednesday, AUGUST 1st at 10:00 a.m. and include gate admission when purchased online.
