Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announces his officers will be working double duty April 2-6.

Ravenell explains “On Monday, April 2, officers will be taking over the Chick-fil-A on St. Matthews Road. Officers will be stand on top of the building and work inside for tips to raise funds for Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College campaign to support the American Heart Association. Dr. Walter Tobin and his staff have asked us to join in their efforts to educate South Carolinians about the risk for heart disease and stroke. The remainder of the week, officers will work in Fatz Cafe, Cracker Barrel, Ryan’s Family Steakhouse and Ruby Tuesday to raise funds for the Special Olympics.”

Ravenell concludes “We are excited about these opportunities to support the work of outstanding organizations that have a direct impact on the lives of Orangeburg County residents. We ask the community to come out and support us and help us meet our fundraising goals.”
